Just because winter is here, that does not mean you can't enjoy your park. In addition to ice skating and hockey, we have lots of
free sporting activities, such as cross country skiing, sledding, snow boarding and disc golf, as well as just walking in the
cold, crisp air. So get out of your house, and come visit the park!
We have three sledding hills: two between the Amphitheater and the golf course, and one on the east side of Upton, between
North Cove and Ottawa Dr. There are 5 miles of paved walking & running & biking path in Ottawa Park. These and the Mountain
Bike trail are great for cross country skiing. No snow, but cold? There are three playgrounds in Ottawa Park: two off Kenwood,
and one off Ottawa Pkwy. near the Disc Golf. There is an Outdoor Fitness Center off Kenwood: also picnic tables and barbeque stands
throughout. Into geocaching? Click Here
And adjacent Beatty Park has a Cricket pitch!
We have two shelter houses: one in Ottawa Park off Kenwood, and one in Jermain next to the tennis courts. First come, first served,
or can be rented for exclusive use. For rental of shelter houses or courts, contact Shawn Sobel at
When summer arrives, we still have lots of free sporting activities. The only shuffleboard in Toledo. The only outdoor horseshoes
